Why Walking In Obedience Exists

W.I.O. exists to support women as they walk out what God is calling them to do—without carrying the weight alone.

Meet Erin
Born in New Jersey and raised in Virginia, Erin has called Baltimore home for the past thirteen years. Her life’s calling is to be a bridge-builder—helping people of all ages move from where they are to where God is calling them to be.

Erin’s love for people and passion for movement led her to pursue a career as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. In 2021, she launched her own practice, ErinTheDPT, where she provides in-home physical therapy and wellness services focused on restoring confidence, strength, and independence.

Beyond healthcare, Erin has a deep heart for children and youth. In 2019, she founded the nonprofit I Am A Child of God Inc., created to empower young people to know who they are and to equip them with tools to embrace their God-given potential. This organization was born from a defining moment in 2018, when God told Erin that 2019 would be her Year of Obedience.

That season of surrender led Erin to write her first book, The Year of Obedience (2020), a work that not only transformed her own life but also marked the beginning of a broader calling.

Since then, Erin has been dedicated to empowering women to walk in obedience through her book, Bible studies, women’s retreats, coaching, and honest, faith-filled conversations. This journey ultimately led to the creation of Walking in Obedience—a community designed to equip and encourage purpose-driven women to walk out their God-given calling with clarity, confidence, and consistency.

Today, Erin continues to navigate the balance of life, career, and ministry with obedience at the center—finding joy in helping others do the same.
